The following books appear to have belonged to the English community of Sheen Anglorum, settled in Flanders from 1568 to 1783: Brussels, Bibl. royale, MS 2530; Cambridge UL, Inc. 1824, 4121; London, BL, MSS Add. 11303; Lansdowne 1201; 704 h.21; Oxford, Bodl. 8vo H.36 Th. BS. A copy of Statuta ordinis Carthusiensis (Basel, 1510), now at St Hugh's Charterhouse, Partridge Green, contains the name of Maurice (Chauncey) as prior and has the word 'Shene' stamped on the binding: it belonged either to Sheen at the Marian restoration or to Sheen Anglorum.
