Provenance: Amesbury, Wiltshire. Priory (cell of Fontevrault) and later abbey of Sts Mary the Virgin and Melior, of Benedictine nuns.
Location: Windsor Castle, Windsor
Shelfmark: Jackson Collection 3
Author/Title: Breviarium (4 fols.)
Type of evidence: l: Liturgical evidence, often to be found in the kalendar
Notes on evidence:

Most of the fragment 'contains offices for St Melores of Amesbury. The use is certainly monastic and the presence of a prayer to St Edith confirms the view that it is English. There are indications that Melores has a full office with vigil and octave, so it must be Amesbury' (ex inf. Francis Wormald)
