An erased note on fol. 2r states that it was goven to All Souls by James Goldwell bp. of Norwich. It had apparently been earlier at Ch. Ch. Canterbury and is in a Canterbury binding of c. 1450–1500. See Count Roberto Weiss, 'Some unpublished correspondence of Guarino da Verona', Italian Studies Febr. 1939, pp. 110–113.
