Bequeathed by Thomas Jane, bishop of Norwich (d. 1500): 'Memorandum quod magister Thomas Jan Archidiaconus Essexensis dedit hunc librum huic monasterio de Syon sub hac condicione quod magister Ricardus Terynden habeat usum eiusdem quamdiu vixerit, quodque pro tempore occupans eundem librum oret pro animabus dictorum Thomae et Ricardi necnon magistri Johannis Newcourt, quoniam sibi placuerit et non aliter' (fol. 1v).
