Modern notes (? by Monro) might suggest that the writer supposed that Th. de Geytington was an alias of Richard Rolle and this seems to have been understood by the cataloguer for the Monro sale 23 April 1792, where this MS. was ascribed to 'Thomas of Geytington alias Richard Rolle' and by Joseph Ritson, Bibl. Poet., 1802 (see Allen, Richard Rolle, pp. 375–76, & 232.
